Naw, Prelinger and Kahle control all vids throughout archive.org. What we have here is a fully deliberated supression of information and media by people who style themselves champions of the free and open exchange of the same. The painstakingly collected material of the former televisionarchive.org is a victim of zealotry no less disturbing than the zealotry of the Right.

Found much of this former video footage at a different site. www.thunderbay.indymedia.org Their menus are difficult to navigate, yet they contain tons of the former footage that was either taken down or not allowed on this site.

You're not kidding about the indymedia interface. Any chance you could give a full url to the 9/11 broadcasts here?

Archive.org attempted to present Farenheit 911 at the consent of Michael Moore but had to withdraw it from threats of lawsuit by the movie company (missed it by that much!)

I don't know control is the word, how about presents? Go ahead search the entire Web. Even the well financed Library of Congress only has "Voice of the Violin" and a few other films to download.

This is the one and only.

This is the reason to have broadband, I'm surprised they don't get more subsidy from ISP's because it makes their product so viable.

Why are the networks suppressing and not making 911 footage available to the public? Why should it be the responsibility of this site? What about the spirit of the Internet? Public domain should be mirrored all over the place. Where are these mirrors?

Look at the number of downloads the tsunami got.
I don't see the conspiracy here.

I thought liberals were supposed to get paranoid!
